What is the No-BS Academy?+

A science-based strength and rehabilitation coaching platform. Instead of generic routines, you get structured training, corrective and rehab work, and real nutrition, all built on movement assessment rather than trends. The aim is simple: train in a way that actually fits how your body works.

Who is this app for?+

Anyone who wants to train properly, from complete beginners to experienced lifters and athletes. It's also built for people working around injuries or movement issues, and for trainers and therapists who want to coach their own clients through it.

Is this only for injured people?+

No. Rehabilitation is one side of it, but most members use it to build strength, performance, and fitness. The injury and corrective work is there if you need it, not a requirement.

Do I need training experience before joining?+

Not at all. The videos walk you through each movement with clear cues, so you can start as a complete beginner. If you're experienced, you can skip ahead and use the programming and tools directly.

Is the rehab content a replacement for seeing a physio in person?+

No. It's educational and best for minor aches or improving mobility and stability in specific areas. For serious, chronic, or complex injuries, you should get a proper clinical assessment and kinetic diagnosis before using it, rather than following the videos on your own.

What is included in the membership?+

Is nutrition and meal planning included?+

Yes. Meal plans are built into the All In One membership, with no separate nutrition add-on, so your training and nutrition live in one place.

Will I get a customised program?+

The membership gives you the framework and tools to build a program around your own recovery, goals, and preferences. For a program tailored specifically to you, book a 1-on-1 on the Evaluation page.

Can I get personal coaching or feedback, or is it self-guided?+

The membership is self-guided: you follow the videos, programming, and meal plans yourself. If you want personal eyes on your form or program, that's a separate 1-on-1 service you can book on the Evaluation page.

Do I need any equipment or a gym?+

For the most part, yes. Most exercises are built around proper equipment and gym access for correct loading and progression. Some mobility and corrective work needs little to nothing, but a reasonably equipped gym gets you the full value.

Can I use the app on my phone or computer?+

Yes, both. Train at the gym on your phone and plan or watch lessons on a bigger screen at home, with your progress kept in sync.

How is this different from a regular workout app?+

Most apps hand you generic routines and leave you to guess. This is built on movement assessment and rehab science, pairs corrective work with strength and nutrition, and explains the reasoning behind each cue, with real 1-on-1 clinical input available when you need it.

Is there a free version, or can I try it first?+

Yes. The free plan gives you access to the Workout Builder, and the All In One plan provides limited access to a few instruction videos, so you can try things before subscribing. There's no timed free trial, and annual plans come with a 7-day refund guarantee.

How much does it cost?+

Can I cancel anytime?+

Can trainers or therapists use this with their own clients?+

Yes. Trainers and therapists can assign workout, rehab, and meal plans to their own clients, who then get free access to whatever is assigned to them. Plans scale from 2 clients up to 100. Details are on the Pricing page.
